The TREE building was an exemplar exercise in sustainable construction. From the combination bio-mass and interstitial space heating and air quality management system to the use of straw and recycled news papers as high performance insulation, this building incorporated it. Even the seating in the auditorium was recycled VW Camper Van bench seating with eco friendly and durable coverings.
