On each Marston's projects, Muir Construction were involved from concept and feasibility, assisting in dealing with abnormal site conditions, planning requirements, to securing drainage and utility connections. Marston's roll out programme in Scotland required their ""model design"" to be constantly evolving to maximise the earning potential of each pub or lodge. Pubs were built at Forfar, Lenzie, Richmond Park and Peterhead and a lodges at Peterhead.
